When you have crossed the Pacific, write and tell me what color the sea tastes like. And when you arrive at the Malvinas, send me a signal. A blues tune will do. A homenaje, perhaps. I hope this message reaches you.
Jakarta is still the same. Just as you always said, she is like a woman.
Kind regards.

Asturias
Albeniz called it Asturias.
To me, it sounds like homesickness for a place I have never known. A longing as dry as an empty road stretching across Iberia. Yet I keep telling myself: one day, I will go.
Would you listen to this piece? Perhaps then you would understand why I dream of the Malvinas.
When I was a child, I asked how one learns. I received no answer. Now that I am older, I find myself asking a different question: why is it still so difficult to learn?
Maybe that is why I have chosen to go.
Not despite my fixed viewpoints, but with them.
